  • We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant and Runner to join our dynamic and vibrant team!

    You will split your time between the kitchen and the floor, working in the kitchen midweek and on the floor during the weekend. You role will involve assisting in food preparation and service during busy shifts and helping run dishes and interact with guests when needed. You’ll support our Head Chef and ensure smooth service whether you’re on the pans or making sure guests feel welcome.

    Responsibilities

    • Work the pan and grill station confidently during service

    • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations

    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

    • Run dishes between kitchen and floor quickly and accurately

    • Interact with customers in a warm and friendly manner

    • Assist in FOH operations when needed. Clearing tables, helping customers.

    • Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety (HACCP compliance is essential)

    • Be an adaptable, enthusiastic team player who can jump in wherever needed

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in busy café kitchens. Pan, grill, plating, prep are all essential.

    • Comfortable working fast-paced services and jumping between roles

    • Great communication skills and team spirit

    • Confidence and warmth when speaking to customers.

    • Current HACCP or Food Safety Certification

    • Strong sense of ownership, punctuality, and professionalism

    • Must have the right to work in the UK
